Carter Brodsky is a multimedia artist with a background in printmaking and martial arts, based between Chicago and New York. Carter is known for his multi-layer print editions that often have many variations to show the hands of the maker. Exhibitions include Free Range and SAIC galleries. Carter is also the co-head curator at Gallery Armada. His work explores competition using layers of print, inviting the viewer to see the mash of figures, text, and color to emulate friction and visual violence.
